Spring In A Can



Home Decor and Handicraft: Turning Tin Can to Vase

The next time you open up a can of soup, instead of throwing the can away, why not recycle it into a pretty and creative vase? That way, you not only get a home-made piece of art, you're doing your part for the environment too. How cool is that?


 

Home Decor and Handicraft: Vase Materials
What you need:
  • Ribbon
  • Yarn
  • Buttons or other decorative art and craft accessories
  • Hot glue gun
  • Empty can
  • Fresh flowers
Home Decor and Handicraft: Clean Residue from Can. Stick Yarn with Hot Glue Gun

Step One:

Clean away any residue from can. Use hot glue gun to secure yarn to the top of the can. Twirl yarn to the bottom of the can.


Home Decor and Handicraft: Stick decorative items to decorate can

Step Two:

Stick flowers or other decorative items (e.g. buttons) to decorate can

Home Decor and Handicraft: Paste ribbon to beautify top and bottom of the can

Step Three:

Paste ribbon to beautify top and bottom of the can.


Home Decor and Handicraft: Put in desired fresh flowers

Step Four:

Put in desired fresh flowers.
