Default Flooring for resort theme

What kind of flooring do you think will go with a resort home theme?

Timber flooring would go nicely with a modern resort-themed house. Timber is very versatile because there are many colours and patterns of natural wood that you can go for. They're classy, with a timeless appeal, particularly for a resort look.

I think bamboo is unique and interesting! Most people go for timber though but I guess that's because it's more common.
