Reunion dinner, house-visiting and Lo Hei. Chinese New Year is all about being together as a family. One thing's for sure, we wish these activities are taking place at this next house we're showcasing.
The amount of planning and work that have gone into the interior design is apparent. The glamorous terrace house is home to a couple in their late 30s with 3 young children. Working with the existing furniture and the family's tastes and lifestyle, the designer planned the design with a silver and white theme.
Living Room
Quiet elegance would be the phrase to describe the white and grey living room. The unique chandelier which seems to be hanging in mid-air is made the focal point of this area.
Dining Room
The predominantly gold and white furniture were refurbished to blend in with the new silver and white theme. Walls were taken down and glass and mirror were put in their place to open up the space visually.
Master Bedroom
The black and white palette in the master bedroom creates a very calming effect. The play on different textures from the string curtains, the stucco wall and bed linen provide extra treats for the senses.
Pink Bedroom
The designer tried to make every room in the house distinctly different, projecting the personality of each room's occupant This pink room belongs to the couple's two girls. When it's play time, the bed will be stored in the platform to make way for their toys.
Blue Bedroom
As this room belongs to the couple's dolphin-loving son, the decor is designed to highlight the huge dolphin picture on the wall.
Rooftop Terrace
The breathtaking rooftop terrace comes complete with a swing and a luxurious whirlpool bath. Everything here is geared towards serious relaxation as you take in the bird's eye view.
