My air-con was dripping after I on it for 8-9 hours, can someone tell me why is it reacting like this…

I think there's a blockage at the outlet that connects to a pipe that drains water to the drainage. When's the last time you service your air con? Perhaps you should get the technician to service it. If you want to do it yourself, you can try to remove the air con case and clean out the drip tray and outlet.

Mine was cold but water was dripping from inside. Puzzled juz 5-year-old air-con after warranty period.

It's time to service the aircon as jasper suggested. If you on it every day, best to service the aircon every month. If you are a hands-on person, you may want to buy a specialised vacuum cleaner to clear those aircon pipes!

Do I need a "water vacuum" ?

I don't think it's about whether the vacuum cleaner is bag/bagless or filtered through water. Make sure the suction hose is long enough to reach your aircon without lugging it up your ladder though!
