Hi people, it's time we singaporeans hv to think out of the box when it comes to decorate our walls. Many times I see people spend a huge sum on fixtures & furnishing but leaving their walls totally bare. Giving it a coat of paint is not enuff! Now here're some tips I saw on the net:

Lighting - It's economical & convenient

Curtain & Colorful Items on wall-mounted shelves!

I like the last one - it's very natural & personal. My work space at home is similar to that (not so nice of course). I love to put up post cards, photos of loved ones and cards from others. Kind of like they are companying me when I'm working.

I find the kitchen a bit overwhelming but it's cute in its own way.

I quite like the first two walls but the following two are too cluttered for me. Putting up some pictures etc certainly makes a wall more interesting than otherwise.

Btw brilliant idea precious! Interesting and personalized :)

i have read an article before that clutter makes the person feels stressed out. i agree. so i like my house clutter-free. i need peace of mind when i return from a day of long hard work in the office.

talking about stress free. what are the things that we should have to help us feel relax at home.

don enemy said that clutter free will help? how about plants, the colour of walls etc? any things else?

Cool!

Boy's room - is that Thomas the Train.

Really nice matching curtain, borders and bed covers. I bet your boy must love his room alot.

How sweet!

Girl's room - Hello kitty!

My favourite - nice touch with the sticker above the switch.

Both rooms have good choice of colour.

Certainly thumb up!

Thanks Happylalapo.
It is Thomas the Tank Engine. My 5-yr-old fav engine :P
he keeps telling ppl tt he has a very nice room...even to strangers :o make me very shy leh :p

The Hello Kitty rm is for my 19-mth old gal. Actually she is too young to choose. It is all b'cos of her mum's unfulfilled childhood dream tt she got this pinky rm. hahahhaha...

Next is my living wall,

i realised that these days parents has pin their unfulfil childhood dreams on their own children. for your precious' case, fortunately it's only a bedroom. i hope you won't pin your dream of being a pop star or a politician on your child....hahahahaha.....

coming back to your decal below the aircon, i think we need to look at it on a wide perspective in order to see if it's really weird. frankly speaking, just for the picture alone, it really kind of funny.

I think the decal very daring to be difference.

I believe if you have more .... how to say .... extension.... extent it longer with more buttlefly / leave print will be even better.

I kind of think you can do without the red round print.

I like to put the light effect just like the first photo! It's really amazing decorating your place and make it really yours so you also have to put your own personal touch in it! Thank you for sharing this one!
