thanks for the sharing on duck rice. now my turn to share with you on tim sum. you can try upper sims avenue near to aljunied MRT, it's very easy to find, the bus stop is just in front. it's a coffee shop, the whole shoe sells tim sum. they have station that cook wanton noodle, fried carrot cake. the price is quite reasonable. if you drive, parking is quite convenient, there is a big carpark just infront of aljunied mrt.

Thanks evel! mmm...I think I've drove by there before. But is it nice? I see it's quite empty at times.

Why don't you try the "wen toh siak" (I only remember it's cantonese name) at Geylang near lor 17? It's those type of typical old fashion 70s' dim sum eatery. The taste is quite gd like old times. But just close your eyes on the hygiene lah. It's air-con (surprise, surprise). But price not very cheap...$2+ onwards. It's also 24hrs. Recommended dishes - carrot & yam cakes, prawn fritters, steamed ribs, stuffed mushrooms, cha siew buns (baked)etc.

yar, not bad lar and i think the price is quite reasonable. there's one changi village, not the hawker but the coffee shop beside the changi merdien hotel, many people go there for dim sum but i find their food not nice, geylang one better.
