my cousin said he saw a flat he and his wife really likes but according to the agent, the owner is in a hurry to sell and below valuation because they got no money to pay the loan but my concern is that don't know that fellow got own loan shark money. wait another case of pig hanging on the door case.

lion worry for cousin....

you are probably right?

What if they own loan shark money? ....... but I think if you report the matter to the police if it really happen that way - you can get a letter from them to paste outside the door to let the loanshark or creditor be informed that they bought the flat from them.

If it is good value and really like the place I will still go for it.

Hmm, that's an interesting idea! They'll probably sell cheap for such cases.

my cousin decided to give up that unit. he has 2 teenage daughters and feels that it is really unsafe. in fact he has been asking aroung the neighbours, they said so far nothing happen except that they always hear the family has loud heated arguements and it seems like some always because of money and gambling. too risky.

lion is relieved...

If one can get it cheap + the location/facing is good. Amenities around it is good - I will go for it for sure.
