now that the 2% / 1% commission scheme no longer applies, will it be easiler for agent to negotiate for higher commission citing more reasons.

i came across an incident where by the agent made the buyer signed an empty comission form and they both verbally agreed it was 2% but when the form was endorsed and return, it was reflected as 2.5%.

does this give the agent more lea ways to be funny?

That's like signing a blank check! Your friend is too trusting. The commission scheme is not the issue here :p

This is absolutely unacceptable - your friend got to bring the case to the real estate association and complain about this unscrupulous behaviour.

This agent have to be strike out from the real estate industry.

but he got no case leh cos words against words, no black and white. that's why it really takes to be prudent when liaising with agent.
