I understand the minimum income to apply for home loan is $20,000 per annum per person.

If 1 earns less then that there is no way you can get any loan? or can the income be combined to meet the $20,000 requirement.

for income less than $20k per annum, you can try credit companies like ezy cash by singpost or hitachi credit. i think may bank also can. those bid banks abit stiff lar.

I don't think singpost or hitachi credit give home loans. They only lend you a sum which is a few times your monthly income. Tried appealing to HDB?

singpost has housing loan. my friend is working there in the housing loan dept.

SingPost collaborates with UOB for housing loans. It's actually UOB who is giving out loans though.

oh ok why need to be some complicated. why UOB don't market themselves? so is the packages the same in singpose and UOB?

That right, a young friend of mine just consulted me on this matter - I also recommend them to go to HDB.

They probably can qualify for HDB loan - as they are first time buyers with really low income - earning about 21600 per annum.

Well as i know this should be of $20 per anum, this is the minimum but it also depends on the area of the place where this is existing.
