suggestions to lower electrically bill

i staying in a 3 room flat and my electrical bill average $150 per month which i compared with some of my peers is really too high. some of my friends staying in 4 room electrical bill only $70+.

any good suggestions on how to cut down on electrical bills?

went to the website but nothing much leh. i already know that we need to switch off items we are not using.

i saw from another forum that if we pull out the plug for the switches, we can save even more then just switching off. wonder is it true. i start pulling out my plugs this morning before i step out of house.
