i was over at balaclava at Ion Orchard last night. my friend told me that they have shifted there operations from suntec to ion orchard.
i think the crowd at suntec was much better. on weekday nights, you still get to see alot of PMEBs but last night, i was there from about 9pm to 10.30pm and there were like less then 5 tables of people.
the new premise is like the old one, they do not have stage and it accessible thru the carpark at level 5 which i thought rather weird.
the interior is long so they can accomodate like sofa sits. i thought the window seats would be nice but the set back is it's facing platform but on the other hand, it's does gives you some privacy.
they do not have a proper DJ console. it seems more like a makeshift portable console.
but the drinks are afforable and best of all it's nett price. we had a bottle of australian white wine that cost us only $60 nett. pretty decent.
