No. I have seen high power LED consumption lower than normal lamp, but not as comparable in terms of brightness. The low power LED perform better than a high power LED; generate less heat. LED lights are surprisingly brighter and less energy consumption than I first thought of. I had had a measurement on the LED current consumption which was quite high, but another test on another LED lights, prove otherwise. I am now convinced that LED lights save a lot of electricity; with equivalent brightness. Some LED products are not as efficient.

I prefer low powered LED products for the following benefits.
- Uses less power
- Generate less or almost no heat
- No ultraviolet radiation (comparing to a normal fluorescent lamp)
- Longer lifespan (easier to maintain)

seem like it's a good choice since now LED lights are such a common thing.

Even all the cars are using Led lights to light up the path. Maybe you can see the famous Audi Led light that is running even in the day.

but led lights can be quite glaring. some of the cars that are using white lights are really glaring and it's quite disturbing to other road users.
