You can consider investing a waterproof outdoor furniture cover. These furniture covers can be purchased separately, or you can even purchase a large size that can fit around an entire patio set. Outside furniture covers do an excellent job protecting against both rain and the sun's UV rays. Be sure that the covers have adequate ventilation to help prevent mold.

Consider investing in a waterproof outdoor furniture cover. They're great for protecting against rain and sunshine between uses. If you have room, store your outdoor furniture in the house or shed during the winter months. Storing your furniture in a dry location until the cold has passed will keep it looking new for years to come.

Those PVC or plastic ones does help in the long time investment. As they do not really change their shape. But do remember to keep them out of the sun. Rain and other elements just need a good wiping down and will be as good as new.

Most of the patio furniture items are quickly washed by the normal cloth and detergent. You can wash your garden furniture either by vacuum cleaner or by manually if you are expecting to use your furnishings later that day.

We had teak furniture once, sealed it really good the week we bought it, and it turned gray after the next summer. Good luck keeping its original luster!

Selection of these items is done carefully, keeping comfort, design tastes and material types top of mind. For hard woods, consider annually sanding and applying a fresh coat of protective finish, such as oil, stain, or a polyurethane coating.

Wood should not be sealed when outside, it should be able to breath. That's why such as Cuprinol is best.

The foremost thing which I would advice is to consider the material which doesn't need any regular maintenance like wood furniture, rock furniture etc because you can't predict the possibilities of weather and another thing is if you are not at home or your plan may exceed than expected then you can freely move anywhere without any thought of destructions.

Over time, weather ? good or bad ? can do serious damage to your patio furniture. A little wind, a lot of precipitation and too many direct rays can all turn your expensive patio set into a ramshackle pile-o-rust. Protect your outdoor living space and prevent dirt, rot and rust with these simple steps.
1. Keep it clean
2. Protect fabric.
3. Hold it in place.
4. Use furniture sunscreen.
5. Plan ahead.
