Biography:

I'm Sam Leroy, I'm an appliance repair technician working for a repair company. We appliance repair technicians have a variety of duties, however, in general, we install, adjust and repair any number of home or commercial appliances. Most often you will be working on refrigerators, ovens, washing machines, dryers, and sometimes microwaves and vacuum cleaners. You will usually need to know how to diagnose the problem, locate the repair parts, and have the knowledge to install them correctly, as well as have knowledge of using hand tools.

As an appliance repair technician, certain key skills are required; among them we must have a mechanical mind, since most technicians have a natural ability to have a general understanding of how a product is assembled, as well as how all parts of the product work together to function properly. Listening skills are important as well as critical thinking skills. We are able to manage time wisely and make good decisions while under time constraints when looking for solutions to problems.
