Greetings, my name is Emiliano, I work in a public health center in Madrid, I am a doctor specialized in pediatrics.
When we talk about the concept of early care, a wide field opens up that includes a series of measures, treatments, and programs dedicated to the early childhood of children with developmental disorders or at risk of suffering from them. Early care is defined as: "The set of interventions, aimed at the child population from 0 to 6 years, the family and the environment, which aim to respond as soon as possible to the temporary or permanent needs presented by children with developmental disorders or at risk of suffering them.

These interventions, which must consider the child's entirety, must be planned by a team of professionals with interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary orientation". From the previous definition we must stop at two points, first in the field of intervention "child population from 0 to 6 years, the family and the environment", ie, intervene in early care is not a mere system of rehabilitation or stimulation of the child, but must be considered much further, is a set of measures (psychological, educational and support) that allow the integration of infants in their environment, is the creation of contexts where the child can interact normally and in optimal conditions. For a better development of the child it is important the interest of the parents to verify the behavior, the intellect of the child, its possible malformations. It is important to maintain a constant medical control.
