Bamboo and Sugar cane

I have always mixed up the 2 - Bamboo and Sugar cane are they referring to the same thing?

I used to get confused with the 2 as well. There are a few differences though. Bamboo is hollow whereas sugar cane is not, and bamboo is loved by pandas whereas sugar cane is loved by us :tongue-new:
