HDB is really eating up our money... I believe that a simple or not really well done 4room/5room flat don't comes up to 100 - 200 k? And the works of the HDB subcon really cannot make it...

Our government wants to fill up their coffers :rolleyes: Think the high price comes about partly because HDB factors in the cost of land even though they don't have to pay for it. *sigh* property prices are so expensive nowadays.
Yeah, was having a chat with my friend the other day on why its subsidised housing? why is the subsidy from?
oh - its subsidised housing alright. Subsidised by the buyer that is! :P
They are cunning alright, makes you SO happy with paper gains when your property increase in value. Until you try to upgrade and realise that you cannot get anything better if you sell cause ALL properties have appreciated in value.
I cannot believe the sky high prices for HDB nowadays :(
