Monochromatic colour scheme

I prefer neutral and dark colours, but what do you suggest so that my monochromatic colour scheme won't look boring?

You can try playing with different textures - for example, silk pillows, wool rug, woven basket, wood furnitures. Even though they are all of dark colours, the different textures will provide sensorial variety, making your decor more interesting.
