Window Grilles – Aluminium or Wrought Iron?

I know that Wrought Iron or Aluminum Grilles are the common choices for windows or door gates. Can someone advise which one is better and which one I should go for?

It depends on your preference. If you're staying in HDB, I think aluminium is good enough. Light weight, strong and durable, high tensile strength, easy to maintain, very cost effective, non-corrosive in nature. If you're staying in landed property or ground level, it will be better to go for wrought iron grilles as to secure windows and doors since the metal is heavier than aluminium.

I think there are many things which can be useful for windows and doors like Iron or Aluminium Grilles but in these days, people like to buy those kind of things which have good quality, material, durability, less cost. To keep secure our house, doors and windows need good material.

Why you don't try to choose Aluminum Grilles because it is common and suitable for window.
