my boss has been asking me to buy a landed property. has been discussing with my hubby about this issue. we have recently just bought a private appartment unit near kembangan mrt that comes with tenancy. so thinking of buying another landed property for rental. but i want to know the cost of maintenance so i can budget that into the rental / advise the tenant the average cost of maintenance. what i'm refering to are pest control, refuse charges, lawning etc.

Really depending on the size of the house;
Things you need to maintain;
1) Garden - usually about $80 per month to as high as $550 per month
2) pool/pond (if any) - usually about 150 per month to as high as $200 per month
3) autogate - probably one time about $100
4) pest control - roughly $50 per trip
5) aircondition unit - per unit about $20 to $30
6) Alarm System - about $180 per quarter.
drop the idea. so much to budget in. still need to run SCV cable, internet cable etc.
