    Hi cookies,

I like country style home! =) I've done up my own room in 'sort-of" country style way with some woody furniture. If you have the budget, you can design your own style. like put up some wallpaper and those victorian style or oak furniture. My friend bought her set of victorian style furniture from shop at Tan Boon Liat Building - quite reasonably priced compare to market. If not, you can find an ID firm to do for you, another of my fren tried promax, I think it's pretty well design too. hope it helps!

it's quite difficult to find country style related furnishings. i've seen Ikea have some nice country style furnitures, but not sure if they're of ok quality. other than the one you suggested at tan boon liat, any idea where else will have nice country style bed frame? esp those with storage below? and tv console as well?

mm... as far as i know... there's one at Stamford House 2nd level. very good collection (better than Tan Boon liat) but quite pricy. Other than that I've seen some shops at Eastpoint Mall near Simei MRT that sells country-style accessories (not so much of furniture but they may customise). But considering price & variety factors, I still recommend the one at Tan Boon Liat. Actually you may want to consider to look around for 2nd-hand ones in those high-end antique shops. I know one at Plaza Singapura's foodcourt level, pretty good too.

So far the IDs that i know specialising in country style are:
    Forest in Thomson Plaza
    Cottage Craft in Stamford House
Creation from the Heart in Anchorpoint
Country Concept in Tanjong Katong Complex

For furniture, Cottage Craft has nice furniture as well. also Ecolinks in Furniture Mall and Park Mall. Or Country Design in Sungei Kadut or Tanjong Katong Complex. Actually, i think Ikea has very nice country style furniture as well. Thinking of getting bed frame from Ikea but we'll see how la... if budget allows, we'll get, else we'll just retain our bed now. Spotlight has very nice country style bedsheet sets though. Like them alot!

    thanks for all the inputs

woah...looks like you've really done your homework cookies! I'm sure your house will turn out really nice. ya ikea's bed frame is inexpensive and classy. but places like Courts can be considered too... seen some metal frame bed there too. prices can go as low as $400plus for a queen's bed. For bedsheet, Aussino has very country ones too. look out when they are having sale... it's really worth the buy.

    Hi all,
There's one designer in Chinatown near new bridge road which does country-styled home as well.
They are called 3ants Creation and they have a very unique style of doing things which I find is of good customer service.

You may email them at <link removed>.

    Cheers,
