    Looks great! But I wouldn't want it above my bed as the shelves on the examples above doesn't have a wall/door to secure items from falling off.

    Although theoretically the items on the shelves shouldn't be falling off for no reason...

    If you do not want the shelves above of your bed, then you can also place them on the right left of your bed side accordingly on the wall. Also if you want to secure the items form falling, you can cover them with glass. Fix the transparant glass behind the shelves.

    Not only are floating shelves functional, but they are also beautiful.

    Floating shelves look awesome
    Just make sure you mount them perfect and with string plasterboard screws if into plasterboard!
    Otherwise they will be . falling shelves pretty soon!
