Engaging a designer for my home

Any one knows approximately the market for engaging a designer for home interior? Gotta work out my budget.

depends on how extensive the house renovation is. Some designers waive the design fees if the reno exceeds a certain amount. My designer waived his fees of $2.5K because the renovation exceeds $30K.

so i guess 10k isnt really sufficient. what was the extent of your renovation that made it over 30k?

i think u can get quotations from several reno companies before u settle on one. most of the time, the price range will be around the same. u can check out some of the companies listed on the happy house directory too. that may help
