    Default Hot/Cold Water Tap

Hot water tap – is it useful/necessary? Would it affect my utilities bill significantly?

you mean you don't shower in hot water? wow... i think it's always good to have hot tap. you never know when you need to use warm water. and i don't think will make a difference in the cost.

come to think of it, you need electricity to heat the water but then again i think the difference should not be significiant.

I don't understand why this question raised here. I mean without hot water tap your bathroom is nothing. If there is hot water tap, you are ready to bath at any time. Don't give much concern to the electricity. Hot water is more important. Still, if you want to disconnect it from your bathroom, you can call a plumber right now.

I think it's nice to have, but not a necessity
