seller back out
my sis wanted to buy a resale flat and is waiting for the first appointment after the OPT is signed. however, the seller decided to back out citing reasons that the offer was too low compared to the current market. seller asked for another $30k more which of cos my sister won't agree.
now that the OPT has been signed, if the seller insist not the sell the flat, can my sister claimed any compensation?

Once your sister accept the OTP, the seller cannot back out of the sale so she's safe

Does she has an agent acting for her? she can bring this case to HDB. When you say sign the letter of offer. Is it the letter of offer of HDB or the agent, so this case has not been submitted to HDB, right?
A little complicated to exercise your sister right if it is not HDB option.
