Sharing Property For Investment
What do you think of sharing a property for the purpose of investment? Lets say I share with a friend to buy a private house, rent it out, and then in a few years sell it when it makes money, sell it. Cos on our own, we cant afford to buy a house.

i think it's ok. but must get a lawyer to do the paper work of the percentage of shares and whether 1 party can sell the property without the other's consant etc. better put everything in black and white.

It can get complicated. What if one wants to hold and the other wants to sell? Unless both of you are very easy going, I don't think it's a good idea. Even so, you'll have to be mindful as there is also no guarantee that either will remain easy going...
