Use distilled white vinegar. Mix white vinegar (1/2) and water (1/2) together and pour it into a spray bottle. Use it to spray on the leather sofa and leave it to dry. The vinegar smell will go away once its dry, so don't worry about the smell. Repeat the procedure if there's still some musty smell.
